Crespell is a small but mighty queer-owned flower farm in the Catskill Mountains. We offer stunning sustainably grown flowers that will, we hope, re-define what local flowers can, and do, look like. You can expect things like salmon ranunculus, pastel anemones, black tulips and long-stemmed fragrant sweet peas in spring. The summer brings peachy Icelandic poppies, madame butterfly snapdragons and Japanese lisianthus. With the fall comes an explosion of dahlias, heirloom chrysanthemums and four different varieties of fresh eucalyptus. Choose from either a mixed bouquet or straight bunch.
Each bouquet feels full and lush and includes a total of 10–15 stems that are a mixture of big blooms, lush foliage and the occasional novelty item like pods and blooming fruit branches. We pull from the whole farm and field to bring you what is looking best that week and assemble each hand-tied bouquet with attention to color and form.
Straight bunches are a fresh and local alternative to the no-foliage single variety bunch that can feel more refined than a wild whimsical farmy bouquet. You can expect 10 stems* of things like salmon ranunculus, peachy dahlias, creamy yellow chantilly snapdragons or white panda anemones.
* 10 stems is a standard bunch for most varieties. Some things like lisianthus that have upwards of 5 blooms per stem are bunch in smaller quantities but have equivalent heft.
